Holiday visits
Event or holiday cottage pet care, where agreed in advance
Services are subject to availability and suitability.
Before regular services begin, a meet and greet may be arranged.
This gives Cotswold Pawprints the opportunity to meet you and your pet, discuss their needs, understand their routine and decide whether the service is suitable.
Cotswold Pawprints reserves the right to decline or stop a service if it is not considered safe, suitable or appropriate.
Bookings are only confirmed once the service, date, time, location and price have been agreed.
Regular bookings may be arranged on an ongoing basis, subject to availability.
Ad hoc bookings, weekend care, holiday visits and event care may be available by arrangement.
Prices will be confirmed before the service begins.
Current advertised prices may include standard dog walking, puppy visits and pop-in visits. Other services, including holiday pet care, weekend care, event care or visits outside the usual service area, may be priced upon enquiry.
Payment terms will be agreed before services begin.
Cotswold Pawprints may pause or refuse further bookings if payments are overdue.
If you need to cancel a booking, please give as much notice as possible.
Cancellation terms may depend on the type of service booked, the notice given and whether the booking is regular, ad hoc, weekend, holiday or event-based.
Any specific cancellation fees or notice periods should be agreed with you before the service begins.
Cotswold Pawprints will always try to provide the agreed service. However, services may need to be cancelled, rearranged or shortened due to illness, unsafe weather, vehicle issues, emergencies, pet welfare concerns or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Where possible, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably practical.
If Cotswold Pawprints is given keys, codes or access instructions, these will be kept as safe and secure as reasonably possible.
You are responsible for providing accurate access information and making sure Cotswold Pawprints can safely enter and leave your property.
Cotswold Pawprints is not responsible for missed visits where access cannot be gained due to incorrect keys, faulty locks, wrong codes, blocked access or inaccurate instructions.
You must provide honest and accurate information about your pet’s health, behaviour, temperament, routine and any risks.
This includes any history of aggression, reactivity, escape attempts, anxiety, medical conditions, injuries, allergies or medication needs.
Cotswold Pawprints may refuse or stop a service if a pet’s behaviour or health creates a risk to the pet, other animals, people or Cotswold Pawprints.
Dogs and pets should be suitably vaccinated, treated for fleas and parasites, and in good health for the service being provided.
Please let Cotswold Pawprints know if your pet is unwell, has an infectious condition or may pose a risk to other animals.
Group walks are only suitable for dogs who are comfortable and safe around other dogs.
Cotswold Pawprints will carefully consider group suitability, but group walks may not be appropriate for every dog.
If a dog is not suited to group walks, a solo walk or alternative service may be recommended.
Solo walks are suitable for dogs who need one-to-one attention, are nervous, reactive, older, in season, recovering, or simply prefer their own space.
Puppy visits and pop-in visits may include feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, play, company and basic care agreed in advance.
They are not a replacement for veterinary care, specialist training or overnight supervision.
Holiday cover may include feeding, fresh water, litter trays, hutches or small enclosures cleaned or tidied, and a basic wellbeing check.
Full deep-cleaning, veterinary costs, emergency transport, specialist medical care or overnight stays are not included unless agreed separately.
Medication or specialist care must be discussed and agreed in advance.
In an emergency, Cotswold Pawprints will try to contact you or your emergency contact.
If urgent veterinary care is needed and you cannot be reached, you authorise Cotswold Pawprints to seek veterinary assistance where reasonably necessary.
You remain responsible for all veterinary fees, treatment costs, transport costs and related expenses.
Walks may be changed, shortened, moved to shaded areas, replaced with a home visit or rearranged if the weather is unsafe.
This includes extreme heat, storms, icy conditions, flooding or any situation where Cotswold Pawprints believes walking would not be in the dog’s best interests.
Cotswold Pawprints may send photo updates to customers after walks or visits.
Photos will only be used for marketing or social media with your permission.
Cotswold Pawprints aims to maintain appropriate insurance for the services provided.
Insurance does not remove the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate information, safe access and suitable care instructions.
You agree to:
Provide accurate contact details
Provide accurate pet care information
Update Cotswold Pawprints about changes to health, behaviour or routine
Make sure your pet has suitable food, equipment and supplies
Provide safe access to your property
Pay agreed fees on time
Inform Cotswold Pawprints of any relevant risks
Cotswold Pawprints will take reasonable care when providing services.
However, Cotswold Pawprints is not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate information, undisclosed behavioural or medical issues, unsafe equipment, faulty property access, pre-existing conditions or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Cotswold Pawprints may update services, prices or these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will be available on this website.
